Overview

This privacy policy describes how the TheSlowWeb iOS app ("the app") handles your data.

Data Collection and Storage

The app only stores your Pinboard API key locally on your device using iOS Keychain. This API key is used solely to authenticate with Pinboard's servers and access your bookmarks.

The app does not:

• Collect any personal information
• Track your usage
• Use analytics
• Share any data with third parties
• Store your bookmarks locally (they are fetched directly from Pinboard's servers)

Data Security

Your API key is stored securely in the iOS Keychain, which provides encrypted storage for sensitive data. The app communicates with Pinboard's servers using HTTPS encryption.

Third-Party Services

The only third-party service used is Pinboard (pinboard.in). All data access and storage is governed by Pinboard's privacy policy, which can be found at: https://pinboard.in/privacy/

Changes to Bookmarks

Any changes you make to your bookmarks (adding, deleting, or modifying) are sent directly to Pinboard's servers using their official API.
